Provides Energy

Animals require high quality energy in times of reduced feed intake, or during resource-heavy processes like growth, production, recovery, or high stress to remain in a positive energy balance.

Methyl-group Donor

Methyl groups are vital for RNA and DNA synthesis, gene regulation, immune function, protein synthesis, and fatty acid metabolism. During growth and development, these pathways are highly active.

Gluconeogenic Precursor

Helps to increase net synthesis of glucose by acting on the gluconeogenic pathway, reducing fat mobilization, lowering ketone body formation, preventing NEFA accumulation and improving energy balance.

Stimulates Feed Intake

Product Description.

Energy-Top F has been developed to support dairy cows during the transition period and in the early stages of lactation. It works by maintaining a high level of feed intake. Energy-Top F’s unique formulation contains sources of energy, feed conditioners, and nutrients to support rumen health. By improving the management of ketosis in cows and the maintenance of high-yielding cows, Energy-Top F helps to improve the overall health and performance of dairy cows.

Ketosis management is critical. The prevalence of subclinical ketosis on a dairy farm can range from 21% to 60% and often leads to the development of secondary diseases, resulting in significant economic losses. Energy-Top F not only provides glucogenic precursors that help prevent metabolic disorders in dairy cows, but it also includes an additional source of energy by providing bypass saccharides.

Energy-Top F enhances the palatability of your dairy cattle feed with a sweet taste that comes from naturally occurring mono- and disaccharides. The special characteristic of these mono and disaccharides is that they consist of both fast and slow available fractions. This reduces the potential risk of rumen acidosis despite feeding additional carbohydrates, ensuring a steady supply of energy. Energy-Top F also contains betaine—an effective source of nitrogen for rumen microbes and positively affects cow liver health.

Easy to use, Energy-Top F offers flexibility in feeding. It can be applied top-dressed on concentrate, or over roughage, mixed into the daily ration, or through liquid dosing systems like milking robots. This adaptability makes Energy-Top F a valuable tool for the improvement of ketosis management and the support of optimal results for your dairy cows.
